Minimalist and geometric, the Tiiliskivi (“brick” in Danish) is a classic: it was designed in 1952 by Armi Ratia (1912 – 1979), founder of the famous Marimekko design house. Extremely elegant, this small tray is perfect for serving drinks and coffee, or for presenting canapés, tapas, and other treats. Created in 1951, Marimekko is a state of mind, a way of life based on creativity, freedom of spirit and inventiveness. Its notoriety dates back to 1960, the year in which Jackie Kennedy made several public appearances in dresses designed by Marimekko.
